Kazakhstan’s World Champions, the Sabyrkhan brothers dominated their contest at the Boxam on Day2

The World Champions, the Sabyrkhan brothers dominated their contests in the Boxam Elite Tournament in La Nucia, Alicante region, Spain on Day2.

Canada’s Viktoria Penney was a bronze medallist in the last edition of the World Championships but she had a powerful opponent from India, Sanamacha Thokchom Chanu. The former Youth World Champion Indian had the longer reach and the perfect strategy to beat the Canadian at the 70kg.

India’s Olympic Games bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain is another star in the annual Boxam Tournament in La Nucia. The 28-year-old boxer controlled all of the three rounds and the full fight against Ukraine’s Olha Pylypchuk at the women’s 75kg.

Kazakhstan’s Makhmud Sabyrkhan won his first Boxam still back in 2011 and he had another remarkable performance against France’s European U23 medallist, the promising Izaya Gaucher today.

Chinese Taipei’s Peng Chia Feng exceeded the expectations in his preliminary battle when he triumphed over Ukraine’s Oleh Chulyacheyev. Kazakhstan’s Youth World Champion Beksultan Boranbek delivered another sensational Asian performance at the 55kg, he bowed out Scotland’s Aaron Cullen.

Kazakhstan’s World Champion Torekhan Sabyrkhan made a solid performance against Denmark’s Kouc Mayoum at the 70kg while his teammate, Nurbek Oralbay landed the stronger punches than Ukraine’s Danylo Zhasan at the 80kg.
