Cacace defeats Dickens, becomes two-time world champion

Anthony Cacace (25-1, 9 KOs) defeated James Dickens (36-6, 15 KOs) on Saturday night in Dublin and won the WBA World super-featherweight title.

Cacace won via unanimous decision. Judges scored the fight 116:112, 115:113 and 116:112 in his favor.

For Cacace it’s second time that he won major title in super-featherweight division. He won the IBF title in May 2024, when he stopped in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Joe Cordina in round eight. He also won the IBO World super-featherweight title.
