Prill, Roganovic, Dzida and Bozorov won their quarter-finals at the Montenegro Elite Cup

Poland’s Marta Prill, Montenegro’s Milos Roganovic, Serbia’s Filip Dzida, and Moldova’s Davron Bozorov were among the winners at the Montenegro Elite Cup in Budva on Day3.

Poland’s Nikola Prymaczenko moved down to the 51kg and she proved her strong progress against Kazakhstan’s former Youth World bronze medallist Zhansaya Rakhymberdi to beat a more experienced opponent on Day3.

Poland’s next female boxer in action at the 51kg was Marta Prill who had a tight success over Mexico’s Metzi Lopez in a hectic contest. Her teammate, Angelika Krysztoforska also had enough technical skills to beat Serbia’s Nikolina Dzida in another quarter-final.

Ukraine’s Sofia Turbinina claimed several medals as a junior and a youth boxer in the recent five years and she is now one of their promising elites. The Ukrainian teenager defeated Poland’s Nadia Formela in the fourth quarter-final of the women’s 51kg weight class.

Greece impressed at the men’s 65kg weight category, firstly their Stelios Kirsanidis eliminated North Macedonia’s Ruzdi Rustemovski, secondly his teammate Panagiotis Kostouros bowed out Belgium’s Abiyah Blessing on Day3.

Montenegro’s Milos Roganovic competed at the 2024 Youth World Boxing Championships and the 20-year-old talent had a remarkable performance to beat Greece’s Zacharias Mylonas at the men’s 70kg.

Germany’s Chukwuka David Okah-Ezeokeke had a close but successful bout against Serbia’s David Grosin in the next bout at the 70kg. Another young Serbian, the promising Filip Dzida used his great technical skills to beat Ukraine’s Danylo Lozan.

Ukraine’s Ratmir Turchaninov had a great success over Slovenia’s new national team member Ilia Lishchuk, before his teammate, Nikita Zakharchenko stopped Albania’s Ergys Toci in a quick bout at the men’s 75kg.

Moldova’s Davron Bozorov competed in all levels of boxing in the recent eight years and he used his technical skills to overcome Poland’s Lukasz Zygula therefore he won their 75kg meeting by 4:1 split decision.
