Itauma with a big KO victory against Franklin Jr.

Moses Itauma (14-0, 12 KOs) scored another victory with a savage knockout. He stopped on Saturday night in Manchester, Jermain Franklin Jr (24-3) in round five in the fight for WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight titles.

21-year-old dropped Franklin once in round three then stopped him in round five.

In the same event promoted by Frank Warren, Liam Davies (18-1) stopped Francesco Grandelli (21-5-2) in the fight for EBU European and WBO Inter-Continental featherweight titles.

Willy Hutchinson (20-2) defeated Ezra Taylor (13-1) by unanimous decision in the fight for WBO Global and WBA Continental light-heavyweight titles.

Shakiel Thompson (15-1) got stopped in round nine by Brad Pauls (21-2-1) in the fight for IBF International middleweight title. Thompson was supposed to fight with Etinosa Oliha for IBF World title. But now Pauls is expected to have this chance.
