Wilder defeats Chisora on points
Former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (45-4-1, 43 KOs) defeat Derek Chisora (36-14, 23 KOs) on points on Saturday night in London in very entertaining bout.
Wilder scored two knockdowns, one in round eight and one in round eleven, but was deducted a point in round eight for pushing.
After 12 rounds two judges scored the fight in favor of Wilder (115:111 and 115:113) and one scored in favor of Chisora (115:112).
Wilder is hoping for another world title chance. For Chisora this is expected to be last pro fight.
In co-main event on Saturday night, Viddal Riley (14-0) won the EBU European cruiserweight title, defeating Mateusz Masternak (50-7) via unanimous decision (119:109, 118:110 and 118:110).
Denzel Bentley (22-3-1) won the WBO Interim World middleweight title, defeating Endry Saavedra (17-2-1) via stoppage in round seven.
