Per-Ake Persson Spanish welter Aaron Alhambra (18-2) won the vacant EBU Silver title on Friday night in Madrid, defeating Bulgarian Yosif Panov (27:4) via unanimous decision. Scores were 116:111, 116:112 and 115:112. Panov was floored in the tenth but got up and gave Alhambra a tough fight all the way.
