Naoya Inoue (30-0. 27 KOs) will defend his undisputed super-bantamweight title on September 14 in Japan against Murodjon Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 KOs). Inoue last defended his undisputed title on May 4 defeating Ramon Cardenas via TKO in round 8. Akhmadaliev last fought on May 30, stopping Luis Castillo in round eight.
Anthony Cacace (24-1) withdrew from fight against Raymond Ford (17-1-1) that was scheduled to be held on August 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Promoter Frank Warren informed in social media that Cacace injured his back in training and had to withdraw from the fight. Warren said that Cacace will return later this year.
