Fernandez defends EBU European title with victory against Bilal

Jon Fernandez (29-3, 23 KOs) has defended his EBU European super-lightweight title by defeating on Saturday night in Bilbao, Somay Bilal (18-2, 6 KOs) of Netherlands.

Fernandez won via unanimous decision. For him was the first title defense. He won the title in November last year, stopping Armando Casamonica in round five.

In co-main event Jokin Garcia (14-2-1) won the EBU Silver lightweight title, defeating Gianluca Ceglica (22-6-1) by unanimous decision.
