France’s Sandro Spica on Sofiane Oumiha’s pathways

France’s Sandro Spica amazed the experts once again in the finals of the Boxam Youth-Junior-Schoolboys-Schoolgirls Tournament in La Nucia.

Spain’s Ismael Magharaoui was quicker in the exchanges than Mexico’s Jesus Borrego and he bagged the first youth title in La Nucia. Colombia’s Justin Moreno worked hard from the first seconds against Mexico’s Juan Fuentges and he won the battle of the southpaw boxers at the flyweight (51kg).

France’s newcomer Mohamed Djemmal and Mexico’s Roberto Carbajal both amazed in the semi-finals. The Mexican worked from longer distance and his outstanding technical skills delivered a gold medal for him.

Jose Hernandez and Hector Carbajal met in a hectic featherweight (57kg) final and the first won the battle of the Mexicans in La Nucia. France’s Sandro Spica is one of the best boxers in the entire tournament and he started strongly against Colombia’s Daniel Ramirez enjoying their lightweight (60kg) final.

France’s Djemmal Djamel not only used his longer hands against Mexico’s Adrian Quintana in the first round but he attacked more as well. The Mexican light welterweight (63.5kg) boxer turned up the heat in the next two periods but Djamel had the stamina to beat Quintana by 3:2 split decision.

Colombia’s Denzel Bermudez was patient in his welterweight (67kg) final against Mexico’s Juan Flores and he looked better in point-fighting and also from longer range. Spain’s Jose Saez had height advantage against Colombia’s Juan Franco but the South American had the finish to win this light middleweight (71kg) final.

Romania’s Istvan Szucs, who was discovered by a sensational coach Mr. Sebastian Silaghi, moved forward against Colombia’s Julian Cordova. The referee counted the South American in the second round and Szucs was too strong for the Colombian in the third as well to achieve the title of the middleweight (75kg).

Spain’s 17-year-old Yolber Bandomo (80kg) and Romania’s Cosmin Buleu (86kg) won the last finals in La Nucia with great style of boxing.
