Albanian Ermal Hadribeaj (20-0-1, 7 KOs) defended his WBC International super-welterweight title on Thursday night in Hamburg. Hadribeaj defeated Venezuelan Eddy Colmenares (9-2-1) via majority decision in a tough battle. Two judges saw Hadribeaj as winner (97:93) and one scored draw (95:95).
Was one of seven WBC title fights held in show organized by Universum during WBC Convention.
Mourad Aliev (13-0) defended his WBC International Silver heavyweight title, stopping Davide Brito in round six.
Ukraine’s Bohdan Myronets (10-1) got a surprising victory over Cuba’s Jose Larduet (13-1) in the fight for WBC Francophone heavyweight title. Myronets won via split decision. Two judges saw him as winner (96:94, 97:93) and one saw Larduet as winner (97:93).
Benjamin Gavazi (19-1) stopped Branimir Malenica (10-1) in round 10 and took the WBC International Silver light-heavyweight title.
Serkay Comert (9-0) won his first title in professional career. He defeated Yassin Hermi (15-2-1) via unanimous decision in fight for WBC International Silver middleweight title.
Mexico’s Ashley Gonzalez Macias (17-2) defended her WBC World super-flyweight title, defeating Mary Romero (10-7) of Spain via unanimous decision.
