The 16^th edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup will open the year in 2026 which will start in Boras, Sweden on January 29.

The year of 2026 will be busy for the boxing world and the 16^th Golden Girl Box Cup will be the first preparation event for the main championships.

The 16th Golden Girl Box Cup will take place in Boras, Sweden between January 29 and February 2 in 2026 and the registrations are already open for all of the National Federations and boxing clubs.

Nearly 200 female boxers have already registered to the Golden Girl Box Cup but the deadline to enter to the competition is January 19, 2026.

The Golden Girl Box Cup has a strong brand name in all of the five continents and top nations join the tournament every year.

Boras is a small town in South Sweden and the Goteborg Landvetter International Airport is only 30 minutes by car.

The first edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup took place in 2009 and since then the event became one of the biggest female competitions of the world.

France’s Romane Moulai became the Golden Girl in 2025 while England’s Tiah Ayton, Germany’s Leonie Mueller, England’s Ruby White and Norway’s Sunniva Hofstad were also well-decorated during the awarding ceremonies.
